Your visit
At the First Garden City Heritage Museum there is something for everyone.
Come and see our displays on the Garden City Movement
This fascinating story tells of Ebenezer Howard’s ideas to help people living in slum conditions and farmers unable to support their families, live in a place where they could benefit from the heath of the country and comforts of the town to form a Garden City. Howard’s philosophies have since been replicated all over the world.
Look around a unique 1907 architect’s office
Visit the former drawing office of Letchworth town planner, Barry Parker, filled with hand-made ‘Arts & Crafts’ furniture and paintings.
