Letchworth Garden City Banner Mug

Letchworth's banner, 'Four Square Our City', was designed by Edmund Hunter and woven at the St. Edmundsbury Weaving Works. The banner was completed in time for the 1909 May Day celebrations and became a regular feature in many processions, celebrations and events. The title, "Four Square Our City" comes from the poem, "The Building" by Henry Bryan Binns which was published in 'The City' magazine in January 1909.

The mug comes with a souvenir insert which details the history and imagery of the banner, and is packaged in a clear plastic gift box.
