Planning the Garden City

Pupils will be transported back in time to the year 1910. Working in the original Drawing Office of Barry Parker’s Architects, pupils will design and create their very own Garden City. This 15 to 20 minute workshop offers pupils an insight into the concept, design and layout of a Garden City. With access to the town’s original development maps, and images from the museum collection, this learning experience brings history into the present.
